Black Power was their sole release, recorded at Malachite Film Studio circa 1973-74 and issued circa 1975, sounds like nothing else in the Zamrock canon: a lost message drifting from the flower power era, imbued with a fiery Zambian voice.

Originally released in 1975 on Zambia Music Parlour, ZMPL 17. Recorded at Malachite Film Studios, Chingola, Zambia in between 1973 and 1974 by unknown engineers, perhaps Geoff Kachusha Mulenga and Grayson Phiri.

This reissue produced, with liner notes, by Eothen Alapatt.

Another golden compilation from AA! Great introduction to Afro-Colombian psychedelia via the Discos Machuca back catalogue. These songs are full of infectious percussion, trance-inducing rhythms, sun-soaked melodies, and hauntingly beautiful vocals.
